Your fractional nonprofit executive office

Let your program experts focus on the work they came to do.

Many nonprofits begin with people who know the program—and need an experienced hand to build the organization around it. I bring executive leadership and strategic counsel to help you assess your needs and set priorities, then build and manage a skilled administrative team to put our shared plan into action.

Together, we build sustainable administration that supports the work, grows with the organization, and adapts with funding—without forcing the organization into a fixed payroll or leaving the board and executive director scrambling when revenue changes.

Expertise when you need it. Flexibility when you don’t.

The Collective model

One relationship.
The right capacity.

Our work begins together. From there, I build and manage the team behind the work.

Our work begins with expertly guided strategy sessions and candid conversation. You stay close to every decision while I turn the plan into priorities, bring in the right specialists, and manage delivery. You always have a voice—without having another team to manage.

Systems thinking

Start with the whole.

People, funding, programs, and operations shape one another. I connect those pieces around a shared direction, so strengthening one part supports the whole organization.

AI + automation

Purpose gives technology direction.

AI and automation can take on more of the details. I help choose where they can serve the work, define useful inputs, and connect their output to the goals we’re building toward.

Human leadership

Keep the bigger picture in view.

Experienced people remain responsible for judgment, relationships, and results. I evaluate what comes back, adjust as we learn, and keep the work grounded in the people we are here to serve.

Seeing the whole.
Building what comes next.

What draws me to nonprofit work is the care behind it: people who see a need, imagine something better, and give themselves to making it happen.

I founded Bright Futures Collective with the belief that nonprofit administration need not be difficult or expensive—and that a more thoughtful, coordinated approach could preserve funding and human energy for the program work that inspires generosity in the first place. Drawing on my expertise and the relationships I had built, I saw the possibility of managing multiple nonprofits’ executive offices behind the scenes, making experienced leadership and specialized support available at a fraction of the cost of building separate teams or hiring disparate consultants. I'm on fire for what this makes possible for the people doing the work: the freedom to bring their talent, care, and imagination fully to their programs—with the systems, governance support, communications, fundraising, and compliance thoughtfully coordinated around them.

As a sixth-generation Oregonian, I have returned home after more than a decade of nonprofit leadership in Middle Tennessee and Coronado, California. Today, I consult with nonprofits across the country, helping boards and executive directors bring their vision to life through thoughtful strategy, strong relationships, and the practical support that allows both people and organizations to thrive.

Across nearly three decades of professional experience, I’ve led teams and multimillion-dollar budgets, strengthened governance, and built fundraising and operational systems across education, housing, workforce development, and community organizations.

A foundation in people.

My studies in education and human development culminated in doctoral research examining curriculum development for community building. That work shapes how I help people learn, build trust, and turn shared purpose into meaningful action.
